When we feel consumed by our work, it can feel impossible to carve out time for what is most important to us.

Whether that be a part of your role you love (like developing your team), or strategic pieces of work that require you to slow down and be creative. You want to spend more time on the things that bring you joy and energy, but that feels impossible to do when you have 100+ emails pinging in your inbox each day.

Organisations waking up to the benefits of hybrid and flexible working is part of the answer. But it’s not all of it.

Many of the leaders I have coached over the past 18 months have found it more challenging than ever to have healthy boundaries between work and life - despite saving themselves upwards of three hours a day on their commute. And whilst they are spending more time with their families, they have struggled to switch off and feel present.

To create a working life, and life beyond it, that feels nourishing, we need to dive deeper and take a look at ourselves first.

Not only at what we are spending our time on, but the patterns of thinking we may unconsciously be caught up in. The rules we are imposing on ourselves, that are having our working life feel more difficult than it needs to.

When we do this, we are more likely to make sustainable changes to how we are approaching our work. We also become more able to focus on what’s most important to us. We bring our best self to the table and have the impact we want to as leaders.

I want to help more people feel energised and inspired in their leadership careers. When we feel like this, everyone in our orbit feels the benefit - our teams, family, friends and wider communities.

Which is why I am offering this session…

What you’ll get from this 90-minute workshop:

  • You’ll learn a simple yet powerful three-part model to help you focus your time and energy on what matters most.

  • I will guide you to consider what this may mean for your own leadership journey. You’ll have the chance to explore this through individual reflection and in small groups with other like-minded leaders.

  • You’ll walk away empowered to spend your time and energy more authentically and productively in your leadership career and life beyond.

I am currently offering this session at no charge. It is open to all leaders and aspiring leaders.

I’m limiting the number of seats to 20 to create an in-person feel, so please only book a place if you intend on coming along. If you’d like to come but the date doesn’t work, you can opt to receive my email updates here and be notified of future dates for this and other events. The session will not be recorded.

When you sign up, you will be added to my community of email subscribers. You can of course unsubscribe after the event.

I hope to see you there!

All my best,

Claire

p.s. This event is not a one of those ‘free events’ where very little useful information is shared, and when you get there you realise it’s mainly a sales pitch. My intention is to facilitate an enjoyable, thought-provoking session that will empower you as you walk away.

Towards the end of the workshop, for no more than 5 minutes, I will let you know about my current offerings.

You can also read about my upcoming Group Coaching Programme, The Inside-Out Leader, here, which begins in February 2022.

p.p.s A sample of participant feedback on my online pop-up workshops below:

"My mindset on development plans has completely changed after attending the workshop yesterday. I have not only come away with a completely refreshing view on how to ensure my development plan benefits me and the organisations I work for, but I am also inspired to make sure I help those I work with and lead to do the same." Kerry Horvath, Environmental and Energy Manager, Hammerson

“The session was engaging, thought provoking and gave me a push to look at my development plan with fresh eyes. After the session I took the time to focus on myself and updated my development plan. This gave me the confidence to go for a promotion at work, and I got it! Anyone wanting to think about their development plan and growth as a leader in a different way, won't be disappointed!" Holly Messenger, Assistant Director of Growth and Development, Mount green Housing Association

Just a quick thank you note to say how inspired I was by the session.  I can honestly say in 20 years as a HR professional it is the first time my development plan will actually be entirely focussed on such personal development and I am hoping it will lead to a very different type of conversation with my boss.  I am going to start the conversation with the opening line “this is unapologetically different.
